we love our volunteers

Except for the store manager, the staff consists entirely of volunteers. We are grateful to everyone who takes time out of their busy schedule to offer whatever assistance they can, whether it is a few hours or days in any given month.  This is a great place for your student to earn service learning hours. It is easy! Just get our site approved by your school.

We always have a need for volunteers to work in all areas.

We always need assistance in the following areas:

• Receiving and sorting donations
• Preparing items for sale, including minor repairs, if needed
• Putting items out on the floor
• Walking the floor during store hours
• Cashiering
• Opening and closing the store
• Aiding the website development
• Looking up values of items on the Internet
• Picking up donations
